Calorie calculator allows you to calculate you daily calorie needs if you want to loss weight or maintain your weight, and get your calorie needs for a week.
It is based on the Mifflin St Jeor and Harris-Benedict equatios, that calculate your basal metabolic rate (BMR) by using your weight, height, age and activity level.

Calculation of the daily calorie intake can be performed by two different methods: more modern the Mifflin San Zheora formula, derived in 2005, and by older but popular among dieticians nowadays, the Harris-Benedict formula that has been known since 1919.
